| About the Cooler |
|
Opened in October of 1997, The Cooler began as one of the largest skating facilities in Georgia. The Cooler established itself as an Alpharetta icon providing public skating, birthday parties and special events for area families and their children. With two 85' x 200' Ice Arenas and one 85' x 185' Roller Arena, families are bound to have hours of fun. In an effort to provide the best athletic programs for the community, owner John Bardis established programs for figure skating and ice hockey. The Cooler has broadened the sports programs to include volleyball, roller hockey, martial arts, yoga and wrestling with internationally recognized coaches and trainers. Today, the A5 Volleyball program and the Atlanta Fire Travel Hockey program produce some of the nation's top athletes. The Cooler has become one of the finest family recreation centers in the United States.
